When is Weleda build-up lime used?

According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, Weleda build-up lime can be used to promote bone and tooth formation in children with special calcium requirements such as during pregnancy and breastfeeding, with a tendency to nettle rash (urticaria), in the event of insufficient absorption of nutrients and in the case of nutritional difficulties in older people.

Weleda build-up lime contains two complementary preparations that take into account the different metabolic status of the organism during the day and at night. Together they regulate and harmonize the calcium metabolism in particular.

Weleda build-up lime 1 contains a potentised form of apatite, a natural calcium fluoride phosphate and pumpkin blossom extract. Together with the plant extract, apatite stabilizes the nervous system while at the same time stimulating the willingness to absorb the calcium provided with food.

Weleda build-up lime 2 consists of a potentized trituration of oyster shells (consisting primarily of calcium carbonate) with the addition of Oak bark extract and represents the nourishing part of the calcium dietary. It promotes the absorption of nutrients and is therefore taken at night when the absorption capacity from the metabolism prevails.

What should be considered?

If your doctor tells you other has prescribed medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Weleda build-up lime may be taken at the same time.

When should Weleda build-up lime not be taken or only with caution?

To date, no application restrictions are known. If used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary.

• take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!).

How do you use Weleda build-up lime?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, Weleda build-up lime is taken as follows:

Weleda build-up lime 1: according to its effect on the metabolic situation during the day, approx. 1 pinch be taken full in the morning before eating.

Weleda build-up lime 2: according to its effect on the utilization metabolic situation at night, approx. 1 pinch full should be taken in the evening before eating.

Note : Weleda build-up lime is taken regularly for 2-3 months. It is then advisable to stop taking it for about 2 weeks in order to avoid getting used to it and thus avoiding a reduction in the effect. The intake is then continued.

Infants can be given the preparation from the 4th month.

Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by the doctor . If the desired improvement does not occur when treating an infant/child, you should see a doctor with them.

What side effects can Weleda build-up lime have?

No side effects have been observed for Weleda build-up lime when used as intended. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

Keep the medicine out of reach away from children.

Store at room temperature (15–25 °C) and protected from moisture.
