What is Unguentolan and when is it used? Unguentolan promotes wound healing and regeneration of injured tissue. Unguentolan can be used for small superficial injuries, skin damage and minor burns (1st degree) (also for sunburn and cold injuries). Unguentolan may only be used on children under 2 years of age if prescribed by a doctor. What should be considered? Large, heavily soiled and deep wounds, as well as bite and puncture wounds require medical treatment (danger of tetanus).
