What is Klosterfrau Melissengeist and when is it used?

Klosterfrau Melissengeist is a herbal medicine with essential oils of lemon balm and 12 other proven medicinal herbs, which are traditionally said to have properties that relieve digestive problems, pain and sore muscles. Klosterfrau Melissengeist is used for the following complaints:

To be taken: for non-specific digestive problems (flatulence, feeling of fullness); for nervousness and difficulty falling asleep.

For rubbing in: for sore muscles (for massage), headaches caused by nervous tension, for travel problems.

For gargling.

What should be considered?

Stomach problems that manifest themselves as pain or pressure pain at a specific point or are associated with a general feeling of illness require medical advice.

Think about it because certain stimulants such as coffee, alcohol, nicotine and certain medicines such as painkillers and rheumatism drugs can cause stomach problems.

When should Klosterfrau Melissengeist not be used or only with caution?

Klosterfrau Melissengeist should not be taken

-if there are known serious diseases of the digestive organs;

-if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients;

-from liver diseases, alcoholics, epileptics, cerebral injured, pregnant women, breastfeeding women and children and young people under the age of 18.

Klosterfrau Melissengeist contains 66% alcohol by volume. If the recommended dosage is observed, up to 1.6 g of alcohol (if undiluted) is consumed for each 3 ml intake. Caution is advised.

The undiluted solution should not be taken, it is only suitable for external use, for rubbing in.

The effect of other medicines can be increased or impaired. Driving and operating machines can impair your ability to react.

Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking or using other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can Klosterfrau Melissengeist be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Kloster may be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding frau Melissengeist should not be taken because of the alcohol content.

However, there is nothing to prevent external use.

How do you use Klosterfrau Melissengeist?

Adults:

For oral use: 1-2 measuring pipettes (equivalent to 3-6 ml) 3 times a day or 35-70 drops 3 times a day, dilute at least twice the amount with water or take with sugar.

For gargling: 1-2 measuring pipettes or 35-70 drops 3 times a day, dilute at least twice the amount with water and gargle.

Children and young people under the age of 18 should not take Klosterfrau Meissengeist and gargle.

For rubbing in: use undiluted or diluted with at least twice the amount with water.

In case of sore muscles, rub the affected areas well several times a day and possibly keep warm.

Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Klosterfrau Melissengeist have?

The following side effects can occur when taking Klosterfrau Melissengeist:

Occasionally mild stomach problems (such as belching) orSkin reactions (itching, burning). In this case, you should refrain from further use of the preparation.

Klosterfrau Melissengeist should be kept out of the reach of children!

What does Klosterfrau Melissengeist contain?

100 g Klosterfrau Melissengeist contain:

Active ingredient: steam distillate of a herbal mixture of: lemon balm leaves, elecampane root, gentian root , bitter orange peel, angelica root, ginger rhizome, cloves, galangal rhizome, cinnamon bark, cinnamon blossoms, nutmeg seeds, black pepper and cardamoms, equivalent to 73 mg essential oil.

This preparation also contains auxiliary substances and 66% vol. alcohol. 100 g Klosterfrau Melissengeist correspond to 112 ml.

Where can you get Klosterfrau Melissengeist? Which packs are available?

In pharmacies and drugstores without a doctor's prescription.

There are bottles of 47 ml, 75 ml (not available in stores), 95 ml, 155 ml and 200 ml with a graduated pipette and a bottle of 20 ml with a dropper insert (not in stores).
