When is Homéogène 9 used?
According to the homeopathic drug picture, Homéogène 9 can be used for sore throat, hoarseness, pain used when swallowing.
What do you need to know about this?
If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Homéogène 9 can be taken at the same time. If you have a high fever or if there is no improvement within a week, you should consult your doctor.
When should Homéogène 9 not be used or should only be used with caution?
Homéogène 9 should not be used if you have kidney problems.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (even those you bought yourself!) or using them externally.
Can Homéogène 9 be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out.
As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Homéogène 9?
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor: suck 1 tablet every hour. Increase distances depending on improvement. The tablets must be swallowed slowly outside of meals. Do not drink or eat anything in the 10 minutes before or after taking it.
Children under 7 years: the tablets must be dissolved in a little water.
Follow the dosage provided on the package insert or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with him or her.
If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Homéogène 9 have?
When taking homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the worsening persists, discontinue Homéogène 9 and tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. In rare cases, excessive salivation has been observed (Mercurius solubilis). In this case, treatment with Homéogène 9 must be stopped.
If you notice other side effects that are not described here, tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
