Properties

The unscented Louis Widmer Sun Protection Face is both sun protection and day care. The combination of UVA, UVB and broadband filters ensures a very high level of protection. All in all, this is a moisturizing anti-aging sun cream for the facial skin and sensitive eye area. The cream absorbs quickly after application, is non-greasy and leaves the skin feeling pleasantly soft and supple.

The vitamin E contained protects against free radicals and reduces premature skin aging and skin damage caused by UV radiation. It also stimulates the skin's own repair mechanisms and helps to regenerate the skin barrier. This smoothes the complexion and improves the water-binding capacity of the horny layer.
The sun cream also contains panthenol and L-arginine, an amino acid. These soothe irritated skin and improve its ability to retain moisture. Matrixyl® 3000, an anti-wrinkle active ingredient, is a fragment of natural collagen, supports the skin's own moisture regulation and thereby increases the elasticity of the skin. In addition, the skin's own natural repair mechanisms are stimulated. The skin structure becomes firmer and more voluminous. It fills in bumps and wrinkles from within and visibly softens them. The RonaCare® AP contained in the sun cream with Advanced Photoprotection, an efficient antioxidant, offers a triple protection mechanism: when exposed to UV rays, it ensures both the reduction of oxidative stress and the prevention of the formation of reactive oxygen species and also for building up UV protection. This protects the skin from long-term skin damage caused by free radicals around the clock.

Application

Apply Sun Protection Face 50+ about 30 minutes before going out in the sun. The sunscreen should be used in sufficient quantity. This is the only way that the optimal protective effect can unfold.
After staying in water or sand for a long time, the sun protection should be reapplied to maintain the sun protection. However, the maximum length of time spent in the sun, which depends on the skin type, cannot be extended by repeated application of the sunscreen.
