What is Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray and when is it used?

Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray contains the active ingredients lidocaine and chlorhexidine digluconate.

Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray can for local disinfection and combating symptoms of painful sore throat.

When must Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray not be used?

Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

Patients with hypersensitivity to local anesthetics should use Lidazon Chlor Do not use hexidine and lidocaine spray.

When is caution required when using Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray?

Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray contains chlorhexidine. Chlorhexidine can lead to acute hypersensitivity reactions (anaphylactic reactions) of the skin and mucous membranes. They manifest themselves with reddening of the skin, hives, itching, swelling of the skin or mucous membranes, and in more severe cases with nausea, colic, asthma, swelling of the upper respiratory tract, drop in blood pressure or circulatory shock. If such signs occur, you must discontinue lidazone chlorhexidine and lidocaine spray and contact your doctor or nurse. visit the doctor. In appropriately sensitized patients, chlorhexidine can lead to anaphylaxis, particularly during surgical interventions. Chlorhexidine is therefore considered problematic from an allergological point of view. If symptoms suspicious of an allergy occur when using lidazone chlorhexidine and lidocaine spray for an allergy, products containing chlorhexidine (including cosmetics) should be avoided. Hypersensitivity can be clarified by an allergological examination.

The spray should not be used in the case of bleeding wounds in the mouth and throat.

If you have a high fever or if there is no improvement after a week, you should consult a doctor.

The medicine must not be swallowed. Any liquid remaining in the mouth after use should be spit out.

Avoid any contact with the eyes.

Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you:

  • suffer from other diseases,
  • have allergies or
  • other medicines (even those you bought yourself!) are taking or using externally!

This medicinal product contains small amounts of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100 mg per spray.

Can Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Lidazon Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray must not be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding, except when used is subject to medical prescription.

How do you use Lidazone Chlorhexidine and Lidocaine Spray?

Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:

3 to 5 sprays per application, 6-10 applications per day.

Local irritation has occasionally been observed. Taste disturbances and a burning sensation in the mouth may occur.

Regular use may result in a yellowish or brownish discolorationexercise of the teeth. This can be removed by thorough cleaning of the teeth.
