To remove lice and nits: Divide the freshly washed, still damp and combed hair into several sections. Now work the hair systematically. To do this, take a small strand of hair between your fingers and comb through it several times from the root of the hair to the tip of the hair. If lice and nits become lodged in the comb, remove them with paper towels or rinse with clean, hot, soapy water.
