When is Wala nasal balm used?

According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, WALA nasal balm can be used for colds and inflammation of the nasal mucosa.

What should be considered?

Consult a doctor if there is no improvement. Use Wala Mild Nose Balm for small children under the age of 2. If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether WALA nasal balm can be used at the same time.

When should Wala nasal balm not be used or only with caution?

WALA nasal balm should not be used on infants and small children under the age of 2 years.

Wala Nasebalsam should not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to Peru balsam or wool fat. Wool grease can cause localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis).

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

−suffer from other diseases,

−have allergies or

−Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally.

Can Wala nasal balm be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Wala Nose Balm?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, use ointment several times a day for children over 2 years of age, adolescents and adults, especially in the evening , if necessary also at night, into the nose.

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with him/her.

If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Wala nasal balm have?

The following side effects can occur when using WALA nasal balm: Hypersensitivity reactions (itching, redness) in rare cases. In this case, Wala nasal balm should no longer be used.

If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked "EXP" on the container.

Keep at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children.

1 g ointment contains: 100 mg mother tincture of fermented barberries (Berberis vulgaris e fructibus ferm 33c TM), 50 mg alcoholic extract from Sloe fruits (Extractum ethanolicum ex Prunus spinosa, Fructus rec.), 5 mg Peru balsam (Balsamum peruvianum), 25 mg essential cajeput oil (Cajeputi aetheroleum), 25 mg essential eucalyptus oil (Eucalypti aetheroleum), 5 mg silicic acid (Silicea colloidalis anhydrica), ethanol 96 %, lecithin, extra virgin olive oil, wool fat (adeps lanae).
