The product is intended for oral use. Fruit juices are generally acidic and acid can damage the 35624® strain. It is recommended to mix Alflorex® with water or milk or less acidic liquids such as B. soy, almond or rice drinks. However, Alflorex® can be taken with a meal where fruit juice is drunk, as the food will help protect the Alflorex® culture. Since Bifidobacterium longum 35624® is a strain of bacteria, it can be inactivated by antibiotic treatment. However, it is recommended to continue taking Alflorex® during antibiotic treatment.
