What are Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets and when are they used?

Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets contain dry extracts from hawthorn herb, hawthorn fruit, passion flower herb, hop cones and valerian roots.

Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets are a standardized herbal medicinal product. Consistent quality is achieved through standardization.

The proven medicinal plants complement each other. They have a calming effect on the heart and nerves (hawthorn, passion flower, hops, valerian).

Zeller heart and nerves film tablets are therefore indicated for the following complaints: nervous heart problems, which can manifest themselves through a variety of symptoms such as: feeling of pressure and anxiety in the heart area, severe palpitations, rapid pulse, difficulty falling asleep and restless sleep, dizziness and nervousness.

What precautions should be taken?

If an irregular pulse, severe palpitations, stabbing pain in the heart area and shortness of breath occur frequently or last longer, a doctor ’s consultation is advisable. He or she will determine whether the heart or the vessels are organically diseased or whether the symptoms are caused by nerves.

This preparation contains approx. 235 mg usable carbohydrates per single dose (1 film-coated tablet).

When should Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets not be taken or only with caution?

This medicine should not be taken if you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.

When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary. This medicine is not recommended for children and adolescents under 18 years of age.

How do you use Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets?

For nervous heart problems, adults take 1 cell heart and nerves film-coated tablet 3 times a day with some liquid. If you have trouble falling asleep, a single dose of 1-2 film-coated tablets one hour before bedtime is recommended. The use and safety of Zeller Heart and Nerves, film-coated tablets in children and adolescents under the age of 18 has not yet been tested.

What does Zeller Heart and Nerves film-coated tablets contain?

1 film-coated tablet contains 29.4 mg dry extract of hop cones (DEV native 7-10:1), extractant methanol 50.8% (V/V), 67.5 mg dry extract of valerian root (DEV native 5-8:1), extractant methanol 50.8% (V/V V), 81 mg dry extract from hawthorn leaves and flowers (DEV native 4‑6:1), extractant ethanol 70% (V/V) corresponding to 1.4‑2.8 mg flavonoids calculated as hyperoside, and 81 mg dry extract (DEV native 3-6: 1) from a mixture of passion flower herb and hawthorn fruit (2.8: 1), extractant ethanol 57.9% (V/V).
