What are Paya Konjac Tuber tablets and when are they used?

Paya Konjac Tuber tablets contain flour from the konjac root with the herbal active ingredient glucomannan, obtained from the roots of the Japanese plant Amorphophallus konjac. The Paya Konjac Tuber tablet is a bulking agent for the supportive treatment of obesity. Swelling in the stomach (increase in volume) creates a feeling of satiety and thus prevents excessive feelings of hunger. This makes it easier to lose weight when carrying out an accompanying low-calorie diet.

When should Paya Konjac Tuber tablets not be taken or should only be taken with caution?

Paya Konjac Tuber tablets should not be taken in the case of diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, in particular pathological narrowing of the digestive tract (i.e. if food is prevented from passing through). The same applies to known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients.

As with all bulking and fiber preparations, the absorption of medicines taken at the same time can be influenced. If you are currently taking other medicines, it is advisable to take them at a different time by approx. 60 minutes.

How do you use Paya Konjac Tuber tablets?

Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 2-4 tablets with at least 3-4 dl of water or tea 30 minutes before each meal.

What side effects can Paya Konjac Tuber tablets have?
