What is Sidroga Bearberry Leaf Tea and when is it used?

Sidroga Bearberry Leaf Tea contains dried bearberry leaves Shape and finely cut quality (tested according to pharmacopoeia). Antibacterial properties are traditionally attributed to bearberry leaves.

Sidroga bearberry leaf tea is used for pain in the bladder and urethra with urgency and burning when urinating and as a supportive measure for bladder infections.

What should be considered?

If symptoms recur or last several days or if you have a fever, you should consult a doctor. Urinary tract infections can have serious consequences. If you already suffer from a chronic kidney and urinary tract infection, you should only take Sidroga bearberry leaf tea with the express consent of your doctor. Sidroga Bearberry Leaf Tea should not be used for longer than 1 week without consulting a doctor.

When should Sidroga bearberry leaf tea not be used or only with caution?

Sidroga bearberry leaf tea should not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to bearberry.

Sidroga bearberry leaf tea should not be used by people with sensitive stomachs or by children and young people.

Can Sidroga bearberry leaves tea be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Sidroga Bearberry Leaf Tea?

Adults take 1 cup up to 3 times a day before or between meals.

Preparation: Pour boiling water over 1 tea bag per cup and let the bag steep for 5 to 10 minutes. Then take out the tea bag and squeeze it out lightly over the cup. Only use one tea bag per cup of tea and only sweeten your tea after removing the tea bag from the cup. You can use both natural and artificial sugar for sweetening.

Basic (alkaline) urine is usually required to achieve full effect. In order to achieve this, you should eat plenty of plant-based food such as fruit and vegetables during the treatment and at the same time refrain from consuming meat. Also make sure you drink plenty of fluids (at least 2 liters of fluid per day).

The use and safety of Sidroga bearberry leaf tea in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.

What side effects can Sidroga bearberry leaf tea have?

The following side effects can occur when taking Sidroga bearberry leaf tea: Occasional nausea and vomiting, especially in people with sensitive stomachs.

Sidroga bearberry leaf tea should be kept at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children.
