When is Omidalin wound tincture used?

According to the homeopathic drug picture, Omidalin ® wound tincture at

-cuts, bruises, lacerations and abrasions

-minor burns, minor burns and sunburn

-cracked lips and corners of the mouth, inflamed nostrils

-Mosquito, bee, wasp and other insect bites

-Gingivitis and tooth extractions

-Injuries after shaving

are applied.

What should be considered?

If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Omidalin ® wound tincture may be used at the same time.

If there is no improvement after 7 days, professional advice should be sought.

When should Omidalin not be used or only with caution?

Omidalin® wound tincture should not be used in case of hypersensitivity to asteraceae (daisy family) such as marigold, coneflower. For children under 2 years of age, a doctor or pharmacist should be consulted.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

-suffering from other diseases,

have allergies or

-Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!

Can Omidalin be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no risk for the child if used as directed known. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Omidalin Wound Tincture?

Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor:

Cuts, lacerations, bruises and abrasions: Repeatedly pour a few drops of Omidalin® wound tincture onto the area to be treated, then apply a porous plaster or bandage.

Minor burns, minor burns and sunburn: Repeatedly sprinkle Omidalin® wound tincture on burned areas. Do not open any burn blisters. Extensive burns must be treated immediately by a doctor.

Cracked lips and corners of the mouth, inflamed nostrils: Dab these often poorly healing wounds with a cotton ball moistened with Omidalin® wound tincture.

Mosquito, bee, wasp and other insect bites: Wet wound tincture often with Omidalin®, apply compresses to existing swellings, see «Bandages».

Inflammation of the gums, tooth extractions: Use Omidalin® diluted as a mouthwash. 1 teaspoon in ¼ glass of warm water.

Bandages for larger wounds or as a wrap for insect bites: Larger wounds must be treated immediately by a doctor. Unless otherwise prescribed, the sterile gauze is moistened in 5 to 10 layers with Omidalin® wound tincture, placed on the wound and held in place with a so-called adhesive bandage. The protective or cover bandage comes over this adhesive bandage. To treat the wound, only the protective bandage is removed. The adhesive bandage with the sterile gauze remains on the wound and is moistened with Omidalin® wound tincture. Wetting should be done several times a day.

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If the desired improvement does not occur during the treatment of a small child/child, a doctor should be consulted with him or her. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Omidalin wound tincture have?

In rare cases, allergic skin reactions can occur. In such cases, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. When using homeopathic medicines, the symptoms can temporarily worsen (initial aggravation). If the deterioration persists, discontinue Omidalin® Wound Tincture and inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and at room temperature (15-25°C).

What does Omidalin wound tincture contain?

Calendula officinalis (pot marigold) TM 12.5%, Echinacea angustifolia/pallida (coneflower) TM 12.5%, Ledum palustre (marsh tea) TM 15.0%.

This preparation also contains ethanol and water as excipients.

Contains 30% alcohol by volume.
