What is Valverde Sleep and when is it used?
Valverde Sleep contains dry extracts of valerian roots and hop cones (Ze 91019). Valverde sleep is a standardized herbal medicinal product. Standardization ensures consistent quality from batch to batch. The two proven medicinal plants valerian and hops complement each other. They have a sleep-inducing effect and enable a restful sleep through mild calming.
Valverde sleep is therefore used for: problems falling asleep and staying asleep as well as restless sleep.
What should be considered?
If you have problems sleeping, you should avoid consuming stimulating drinks (coffee, black tea), nicotine and sumptuous food in the evening. Get used to a regular sleep pattern. A short walk in the fresh air, a soothing bath or reading a book in a relaxed atmosphere encourages sleep. Also, keep in mind that sleep duration varies from person to person and decreases with age.
If your symptoms last longer than a month, you should seek medical help.
This medicinal product contains approx. 105 mg of usable carbohydrates per single dose (1 film-coated tablet).
When should Valverde Sleep not be taken or should it be taken with caution?
The film-coated tablets may be taken if you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients (see "What does Valverde Sleep contain?"). not be taken.

Can Valverde Sleep be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use Valverde Sleep?
Adults and adolescents over 12 years take 2 film-coated tablets one hour before bedtime with some liquid.
Children from the age of 6 receive half the dose, i. 1 film-coated tablet.
Stick to the doses given in the package insert or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Valverde Sleep have?
The following side effects can occur when taking Valverde Sleep:
Stomach and intestine problems (e.g. nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain) can occur after taking valerian root preparations. The frequency is not known.
In addition, due to the additives used, undesirable effects such as skin reactions can occur in very rare cases.
If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C) in the original packaging.
Keep the medicine out of the reach of children.

What does Valverde Sleep contain?
1 film-coated tablet contains 250 mg dry extract of valerian root (DEVnon-native 4-6:1), extractant methanol 45% (m/m), 60 mg dry extract from hop cones (DEVnon-native 5-7:1), extractant methanol 45% (m/m ).
This preparation also contains auxiliary substances, e.g. indigotine (E 132), vanilla aroma.
