Properties
Scent: herbaceous, sweet, warm - effect: stimulating, concentration-enhancing, loosening , air-purifying, strengthening - Use: aroma care, room scenting - Helps with: winter ailments - Provides: warmth, courage and strength, free breathing. Thyme loves a lot of sun, stony soil and can be found as a wild plant, especially around the Mediterranean. Thyme has been cultivated in monastery gardens for centuries because of its diverse healing properties. A strengthening, invigorating oil for mental and physical exertion. All types of thyme do well with typical winter themes. Mix with other lighter essential oils because of their intensity. Thyme linalool is a mild variety of thyme and may (unlike thyme thymol) also be used for children.
