Creon 10000 caps bottle 50 pcs

Creon 10000 caps bottle 50 pcs

Product code: 6723366

Creon contains the active ingredient pancreatin with the enzymes important for the digestion of food (lipase, amylase and protease) in a concentrated form. These break down the fats, proteins and carbohydrates contained in the food into usable components. On the instructions of the doctor, pharmacist or druggist, Creon can also be used to treat or supplement insufficient pancreatic function, i.e. in the event of a lack or absence of digestive enzymes, e.g. after acute pancreatitis at the beginning from resumption of food or artificial nutrition, chronic pancreatitis, cystic pancreatic fibrosis or after surgical interventions in the digestive tract. Creon contains pancreatin in the form of so-called micropellets. These are filled into capsules, which dissolve in the stomach within a few minutes. The digestive enzymes are only released from the micropellets in the small intestine and quickly break down fats, proteins and carbohydrates. The digestive products of the food can now be absorbed from the intestine, just like the natural process of digestion. What should be considered? In order to support the treatment and to improve your well-being, you should divide your daily amount of food into several smaller meals (possibly snacks). Adequate hydration must be ensured throughout the treatment. When not to take Creon? If you are hypersensitive (allergic) to any of the ingredients of the drug. When should caution be taken when taking Creon?Children with pancreatic cystic fibrosis who are receiving long-term treatment with pancreatic enzyme preparations should have regular check-ups in specialized centers . Specific narrowing of the large intestine has been observed in some patients with mucoviscidosis (cystic fibrosis) during therapy with pancreatic enzyme preparations. These led to abdominal pain, vomiting and constipation and in some cases required surgery. If such symptoms occur, the preparation must be discontinued immediately and the doctor consulted immediately. Can Creon be taken while pregnant or breastfeeding? If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, or if you are breastfeeding, you should only use Creon after consulting the take by the doctor. How do you use Creon? The doctor will determine the correct dosage for you. The capsules are swallowed whole with sufficient liquid during or immediately after meals or snacks. For patients who have trouble swallowing capsules (e.g. small children or the elderly), the capsules can be opened and the contents either given to soft food (e.g. apple puree or yoghurt) - to avoid chewing - or the contents to acidic ones Drink liquid (e.g. apple, orange or pineapple juice). Do not dissolve, crush or chew the capsule contents and do not mix with non-acidic food or liquid (e.g. milk or milk porridge) to avoid destroying the protective film of the micropellets. This could lead to premature release of the active substance, causing inflammation of the lining of the mouth and reducing the effectiveness of Creon. Creon capsules or their contents should not be kept in the mouth. Any reconstitution of the contents of the capsule with food or liquid should be taken immediately and not stored. Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think that the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
