Liberol ointment is used for rubbing in during the symptomatic treatment of colds with cough, runny nose and inflammation of the upper airways. The properties of Liberol ointment are based on the combination of essential oils and camphor, which have a relieving and expectorant effect.
Liberol ointment is not suitable for children under the age of 2 years.
Liberol ointment should not be used if you are hypersensitive to essential oils and camphor!
Not on damaged areas Use on skin or mucous membranes.
In children up to the age of 7, use with caution or Caution should be exercised.
In patients with bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup or other respiratory diseases that are associated with pronounced hypersensitivity of the airways, caution is advised when using the product. Inhaling vapors after external application can lead to cramping of the bronchial muscles.
In patients with previously damaged kidneys, Liberol ointment may only be used for a short time and not over large areas.

Liberol ointment must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
For colds with a cough, runny nose, catarrh: Rub Liberol ointment on your chest and back in the evening, massage well and cover warmly. The treatment can be repeated up to five times a day if necessary.
Adults and children from 7 years of age: Apply an approx. 2 cm long line of ointment.
Children from 2 years to 7 years: Apply an approx. 0.5-1 cm long line of ointment.
Wash hands well after use.
Follow the instructions given in the package insert or by the doctor or the dosage prescribed by the doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
The following side effects can occur when using Liberol ointment:
Uncommon: skin irritation (itching, redness), contact eczema, irritation of the mucous membranes, coughing, increased Ver spasm of the bronchi. In this case, the treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if necessary.
If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor or pharmacist.
Keep medicines out of the reach of children. Store at room temperature (15-25 °C).
The medicine may only be used up to the date marked "EXP" on the pack.
