The use of this medicinal product in the stated area of application is based exclusively on the principles of gemmotherapy. What do you need to know about this?If your doctor has prescribed other medicines for you, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether Gemmo ® menopause may be taken at the same time. When should Gemmo Menopause not be taken or should it only be taken with caution?Gemmo® Menopause should not be taken if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients (see «What is in Gemmo ® menopause?»). This medicinal product contains 49 mg alcohol (ethanol) per 0.14 ml actuation (35% w/v ethanol). The amount in 3 sprays of this medicine is equivalent to less than 4ml of beer or 2ml of wine. The small amount of alcohol in this medicine has no noticeable effects. Gemmo® Menopause should not be used in men, children and adolescents. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you ▪suffer from other diseases, ▪ Have allergies or ▪ Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!). Can Gemmo Menopause be taken/used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?Based on previous experience, there is no risk for the child known. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. To be on the safe side, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice. How do you use Gemmo Menopause?Adult women: Spray 3 sprays directly onto the oral mucosa in the morning and evening. If necessary, 3 additional sprays directly on the oral mucosa at noon. Gemmo® Menopause should not be used in men, children and adolescents. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. What side effects can Gemmo menopause have?When using Gemmo® menopause can occur due to the alcohol content slight burning sensation in the mouth and throat. If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet. What else needs to be considered?The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Storage Instructions Store at room temperature (15-25°C).
