It is used to treat hay fever and counteracts symptoms such as sneezing, burning, watery or reddened eyes, irritated nasal or pharyngeal mucosa, nasal congestion.When should Telfastin Allergo 120 not be taken?People with a known hypersensitivity to one of the components of Telfastin Allergo 120 film-coated tablets should not take Telfastin Allergo 120.< p>Children under the age of 12 must not take Telfastin Allergo 120. When should caution be taken when taking Telfastin Allergo 120? It is recommended to take stomach acid-inhibiting preparations with aluminum and magnesium hydroxide two hours apart from Telfastin Allergo 120. Special investigations (e.g. driving test) have shown that Telfastin Allergo 120 improves the performance and the ability to concentrate is usually just as little affected and just as little makes you tired or sleepy as placebo (tablets without an active ingredient). In the case of particularly sensitive people, however, the individual reaction to Telfastin Allergo 120 should be checked beforehand.Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if yousuffer from other diseases,have allergies ortake or use external medicines (including those you bought yourself!).< p>This medicinal product contains 0.12 mg, less than 1 mmol (23 mg) sodium per usual daily dose of one tablet; i.e. it is almost «sodium-free». Can Telfastin Allergo 120 be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding? Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding, or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.How do you use Telfastin Allergo 120?Adults and adolescents from the age of 12:Telfastin Allergo 120: Take 1 x 1 film-coated tablet (120 mg) daily (preferably in the morning ).Do not change the prescribed dosage yourself.
