Opis
Medical product with acetic acid clay
What is Axeta and when is it used?
The use of Axeta is recommended instead of moist compresses for all forms of minor, blunt (bloodless) injuries such as bruises, contusions, sprains and strains (without severe bruising) as well as skin abrasions and skin irritations, sunburn, insect bites and skin irritations caused by sweating ( burning feet) or sores.Axeta is available in a pleasantly cooling gel form and contains the well-known acetic clay (also known as acetic clay), supplemented by the caring properties of chamomile and arnica. Acetic tartaric clay protects the skin from the penetration of pathogens. Due to its cooling properties, Axeta helps relieve pain from blunt injuries and relieves itching from insect bites. The chamomile extract is used to care for sensitive and inflamed skin and the arnica tincture supports the natural regeneration of the skin.
When should Axeta not be used or only with caution?
Axeta should not be applied to open injuries (bleeding wounds). Axeta should not come into contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
Patients who know that they are hypersensitive to chamomile or arnica should not use the preparation.
Inform your pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies, or are taking or using medicines (even those you bought yourself!) or use them externally.
May Axeta be used during pregnancy or in the breastfeeding?
Axeta can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
How do you use Axeta?Adults
Axeta is extremely convenient to use. It has the pleasantly cooling and pain-relieving properties of wet poultices without the disadvantage of their cumbersome application. For minor inflammation and blunt injuries (swelling, sprains, etc.), apply gel thick, cover with gauze and fasten with a bandage. In the case of extensive skin inflammation, abrasions and sunburn, apply the gel in a thin layer and allow to dry or, on clothed parts of the body, cover with gauze before it dries completely.Observe the application described in the package leaflet or the application recommended by the pharmacist or druggist.
