What is Serophy and when is it used? The physiological sodium chloride solution Serophy is a sterile solution for the treatment of rhinological complaints. Serophy can be used on dry nasal mucosa with or without crusting. It facilitates the elimination of mucus and improves the drainage of secretions from the cavities. It is used to lavage the nasal cavities of adults, young children and infants. The physiological sodium chloride solution Serophy (bottle and spray) does not contain any preservatives. The solution can also be used for impeccable hygiene of the eyes and eyelids. When should Serophy not be used? There are no restrictions on the use of Serophy.
