Draw up 5 ml of gel by slowly pulling out the plunger until it reaches the 5 ml mark. Pull the filled applicator out of the bottle and place the bottle back on a flat surface.Lie on your back with a pillow under your pelvis. Insert the applicator deep into the vagina (until the applicator reaches the cervix). The easiest way to do this is with your knees bent. With the applicator in the correct position, slowly press the plunger to insert the gel and then pull the applicator out of the vagina.Remain in a lying position for 1 minute. The pelvis should remain raised. This position will ensure proper distribution of the vaginal gel on the cervix.Dispose of used applicator.How long does it take to use DeflaGyn Gel?Patients with no menstruationDeflaGyn Gel should be used for 3 cycles of 28 days. Then continue the third cycle of treatment.Patients with menstruationDo not use DeflaGyn intravaginal gel during menstruation (approximately 3-5 days of the cycle).
