ManuRhizoLoc gives the wrist and thumb a secure hold thanks to the integrated and anatomically preformed aluminum rods. If at the beginning of therapy the focus is still on immobilising the joints, it is important to gradually train the muscles for long-term regeneration. With a Velcro strap on the thumb, the securing can be loosened by the pad and a controlled release of movement in the thumb base joint can take place. As soon as sufficient mobility has been restored, the thumb rest can be completely removed. This means that gripping movements with all fingers are possible again, the hand is further stabilized and the risk of subsequent injuries is reduced.
