Gemäss der anthroposophischen Menschen- und Naturerkenntnis kann Pertudoron zur Behandlung von Reizhusten, krampfartigen Hustenanfällen und Keuchhusten angewendet werden. Pertudoron wirkt hustenstillend und krampflösend. Es eignet sich besonders zur Behandlung von akutem und chronischem Krampfhusten (auch verbunden mit Atembeengung und Brechreiz). Was sollte dazu beachtet werden? Wenn Ihnen Ihr Arzt oder Ihre Ärztin andere Arzneimittel verschrieben hat, fragen Sie Ihren Arzt oder Apotheker bzw. Ihre Ärztin oder Apothekerin, ob Pertudoron gleichzeitig eingenommen werden darf. Wann darf Pertudoron nicht oder nur mit Vorsicht eingenommen werden? Reizhusten, krampfartige Hustenanfälle oder Keuchhusten bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren sollte ärztlich abgeklärt werden. Deshalb sollte Pertudoron bei Kindern unter 2 Jahren nicht ohne ärztliche Abklärung verwendet werden. Bei Husten, der länger als 7 Tage anhält, muss ebenfalls ein Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogist bzw. eine Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin beigezogen werden. Bei bekannter Überempfindlichkeit gegen Chinin (Chinarinde, Cinchona pubescens) oder einen anderen Inhaltsstoff darf Pertudoron nicht angewendet werden. Informieren Sie Ihren Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihre Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin, wenn Sie an anderen Krankheiten leiden,Allergien haben oderandere Arzneimittel (auch selbst gekaufte!) einnehmen. Darf Pertudoron während einer Schwangerschaft oder in der Stillzeit eingenommen werden? Aufgrund der bisherigen Erfahrungen ist bei bestimmungsgemässer Anwendung kein Risiko für das Kind bekannt. Systematische wissenschaftliche Untersuchungen wurden aber nie durchgeführt. Vorsichtshalber sollten Sie während der Schwangerschaft und Stillzeit möglichst auf Arzneimittel verzichten oder den Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. die Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin um Rat fragen. Wie verwenden Sie Pertudoron? Falls vom Arzt bzw. von der Ärztin nicht anders verschrieben, wird Pertudoron wie folgt eingenommen: Erwachsene und Jugendliche ab 12 Jahren: 3mal täglich 10–15 Tropfen. Kinder ab 2 Jahren: 3mal täglich 5–10 Tropfen mit Wasser verdünnen (wegen des Alkohols). Kleinkinder bis 2 Jahre: 3mal täglich 3 Tropfen mit Wasser verdünnen (wegen des Alkohols). Bei Keuchhusten alle 2 Stunden 5 Tropfen abwechselnd mit Cuprum aceticum D3 (Dilution) einnehmen. Halten Sie sich an die in der Packungsbeilage angegebene oder vom Arzt oder der Ärztin verschriebene Dosierung. Wenn bei der Behandlung eines Kleinkindes/Kindes die gewünschte Besserung nicht eintritt, ist mit ihm ein Arzt bzw. eine Ärztin aufzusuchen. Wenn Sie glauben, das Arzneimittel wirke zu schwach oder zu stark, so sprechen Sie mit Ihrem Arzt, Apotheker oder Drogisten bzw. Ihrer Ärztin, Apothekerin oder Drogistin.
