What is magnesium Axapharm and when can an increased magnesium intake make sense?

Magnesium Axapharm is a food supplement. It contains 375 mg magnesium (corresponds to 15.4 mmol) in the form of organic magnesium citrate, which is well absorbed by the body. 375 mg magnesium corresponds to 100% of the recommended daily dose. Magnesium Axapharm is available as a divisible effervescent tablet with a refreshing orange flavor. Magnesium is a mineral; an inorganic nutrient that the organism cannot produce itself and must be supplied with food. Active people, young people and athletes have an increased need for this mineral. Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of muscles and the nervous system. In addition, magnesium contributes to the electrolyte balance and increases tiredness and fatigue.

Information for diabetics

Magnesium Axapharm is suitable for diabetics. The effervescent tablets contain the sweeteners aspartame and acesulfame.

What should be considered?

The effervescent tablets are sweetened with aspartame, which people with phenylketonuria should not take. The effervescent tablets contain 0.70 g of salt per tablet. If you are on a low-salt diet, the effervescent tablets are not recommended.

Can Magnesium Axapharm be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

How do you use Magnesium Axapharm?

Adults and children over 12 years: 1 Magnesium Axapharm effervescent tablet once a day in a glass of water (approx. 2 dl) and cook immediately. It is best taken before a main meal. Magnesium Axapharm is a dietary supplement, it is not a substitute for a balanced and varied diet. The specified recommended daily dose must not be exceeded.

What else needs to be considered?

Reseal the tube tightly after removing the effervescent tablet. Store the effervescent tablets out of the reach of children at room temperature (15-25 °C), protected from light and moisture in the original packaging.

What does Magnesium Axapharm contain?

Magnesium as trimagnesium dicitrate, acidifier (citric acid), acidity regulator (sodium bicarbonate), bulking agent ( sorbitol), flavoring (orange flavoring), bulking agent (corn starch), coloring (riboflavin-5-phosphate, beet root powder), sweeteners (aspartame1, acesulfame). 1 Contains a source of phenylalanine. Without gluten and lactose. Without sugar.
