Description
What Rinofluimucil is and when is it used?
Rinofluimucil relieves the symptoms of runny nose, on the one hand by decongesting the nasal mucous membrane and on the other hand by reducing and liquefying the slimy nasal discharge.
Rinofluimucil relieves nasal congestion and allows you to breathe more freely through your nose.
Rinofluimucil is used for:
Cold, especially with increased nasal mucus formation and crusting.
On the recommendation of a doctor, pharmacist or druggist, Rinofluimucil can also be used for sinus infections. With a doctor's prescription, Rinofluimucil can be used for chronic runny nose and inflammation of the mucous membrane after surgical interventions in the nose or in the paranasal sinuses.
When should Rinofluimucil not be used?
Rinofluimucil must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to a substance contained in the medicinal product, if you have dry nasal mucosa with crust and crust formation (rhinitis sicca), if you have glaucoma or if you have a history of cerebrovascular diseases or seizures.
Rinofluimucil is not intended for use in children under 6 years of age.
When should caution be used when using Rinofluimucil?
Rinofluimucil should not be used for longer than 5-7 days without medical advice. With prolonged use, drug-induced swelling of the nasal mucous membrane can occur.
Rinofluimucil should be used with caution in patients with high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, enlarged prostate or arterial occlusive disease, and in patients taking certain antidepressants or beta-blockers.
Patients who experience high blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, palpitations, heart rhythm disturbances, nausea, or new or worsening headaches while using Rinofluimucil should stop treatment and seek medical advice immediately.
If you are taking MAOIs (medicines for depression), Parkinson's medication, vasoconstrictors or other sympathomimetic drugs, you should not use Rinofluimucil.
Rinofluimucil can produce positive results in doping tests.
Do not get Rinofluimucil in eyes.
