Description
The vitamins A and E contained in Coldistop are used to relieve symptoms of chronically damaged mucous membranes. Vitamin A plays an important role in the regeneration of mucous membrane cells and in the production of mucous membranes. Vitamin E supports the effect of vitamin A. In addition, vitamin E protects the vegetable oil contained in Coldistop from decomposition.
Coldistop nasal oil is used to treat acute and chronic colds, especially dry forms and types of colds that are associated with damage to the nasal mucosa, and as a supplement and for interim treatment with the simultaneous use of aqueous nose drops containing mucosal decongestants. It is suitable for softening and removing crusts and dried secretions on the nasal mucosa.
Upon medical prescription, Coldistop nasal oil can also be used to treat the inner nasal and sinus cavities after operations, e.g. after nasal septum operations, maxillary sinus operations, etc. For this purpose, a tampon is soaked with Coldistop nasal oil before it is inserted into the nose.
