What is Fluimare/- Family and when is it used?
Fluimare/- Family consists of sterile, isotonic sea water with minerals and trace elements from the Atlantic Ocean. Fluimare/- Family is pure sea water, the salt concentration of which has been adjusted to the nasal mucosa, making it isotonic and completely non-irritating.
Fluimare/- Family is used in the following cases:
- for daily nasal hygiene (cleaning and gentle rinsing of the nasal cavities);
- for a blocked nose: liquefies nasal secretions and allows them to drain better;
- for moistening the nasal mucosa in the event of crusting, dry air in heated and air-conditioned rooms (office, apartment, car, airplane, etc.);
- for Air pollution with pollen, house dust, etc.
The sea water contained in Fluimare/- Family has a beneficial effect on the nasal cavities and paranasal sinuses, which are particularly important for maintaining the health of the respiratory tract.
Fluimare/- Family is suitable for adults, children and infants.
What should be taken into account?
The special technology of the nasal rinsing spray prevents germs from entering the container, so that Fluimare/- Family does not require the addition of preservatives. The container containing the liquid consists of an expandable balloon which does not require any propellant gases and works in any position.
Special precautions (covering with an apron, use in the bath, etc.) are not necessary if Fluimare/- Family is used correctly.
"Overhead use" is not recommended. (Turn the spray upside down) is possible.
After first opening, Fluimare/- Family should not be used for longer than 6 weeks.

How to use Fluimare/- Family?
Please follow the instructions for use.
Adults and children aged 2 years and over:
1-2 sprays in each nostril several times a day as needed.
Toddlers (under 2 years) and infants:
One spray in each nostril 3-6 times a day as needed.
Toddlers and infants should not be laid on their backs when using Fluimare/- Family, but on their side. The head should be slightly raised. Then use Fluimare/- Family as described above.
Instructions for use
Remove the protective cap from the nose adapter, insert the adapter into the nostril and operate the pump. Repeat the process in the second nostril.
After use, please wipe the nose adapter with a clean paper tissue, for example, and close it with the protective cap.
What side effects can Fluimare/- Family have?
When used as directed, no side effects have been observed. The duration of use of Fluimare/- Family is not limited and can therefore be extended to a longer period if necessary.
What else should you bear in mind?
If your doctor has prescribed a medicine for use in the nose, you should use Fluimare/- Family beforehand.
Fluimare/- Family should be kept out of the reach of children.
Fluimare/- Family may only be used until the date indicated on the container.
If used for longer than 6 weeks after first opening, the correct functionality of the pump system is no longer guaranteed.
For technical reasons there is a residual amount in the bottle that cannot be used up: this residual amount does not represent a product defect.

Was ist Fluimare/- Family und wann wird es angewendet?
Fluimare/- Family besteht aus sterilem, isotonischem Meerwasser mit Mineralien und Spurenelementen aus dem Atlantischen Ozean. Fluimare/- Family ist reines Meerwasser, das in seiner Salzkonzentration der Nasenschleimhaut angepasst wurde, sodass es isotonisch und völlig reizlos ist.
Fluimare/- Family wird in folgenden Fällen eingesetzt:
- zur täglichen Nasenhygiene (Reinigung und sanfte Spülung für die Nasenhöhlen);
- bei verstopfter Nase: verflüssigt das Nasensekret und lässt es besser abfliessen;
- zur Befeuchtung der Nasenschleimhaut bei Krustenbildung, trockener Luft in geheizten und klimatisierten Räumen (Büro, Wohnung, Auto, Flugzeug usw.);
- bei Belastung der Luft mit Pollen, Hausstaub, usw.
Das in Fluimare/- Family enthaltene Meerwasser hat eine wohltuende Wirkung auf die Nasenhöhlen und Nasennebenhöhlen, welche für die Gesunderhaltung der Atemwege besonders wichtig sind.
Fluimare/- Family ist für Erwachsene, Kinder und Säuglinge geeignet.
Was sollte dazu beachtet werden?
Die besondere Technik des Sprays zur Nasenspülung verhindert das Eindringen von Keimen in den Behälter, so dass bei Fluimare/- Family auf die Beigabe von Konservierungsmitteln verzichtet werden konnte. Der Behälter, in dem sich die Flüssigkeit befindet, besteht aus einem dehnbaren Ballon, welcher keinerlei Treibgase benötigt und in jeder beliebigen Lage funktioniert.
Besondere Vorkehrungen (Abdecken durch Schürze, Einsatz im Bad u.ä.) sind bei korrektem Gebrauch von Fluimare/- Family nicht notwendig.
Ein «Überkopfgebrauch» (Spray auf den Kopf stellen) ist möglich.
Nach erstem Anbruch soll Fluimare/- Family nicht länger als 6 Wochen angewendet werden.
Wann darf Fluimare/- Family nicht oder nur mit Vorsicht angewendet werden?
Fluimare/- Family: Es gibt keine Anwendungseinschränkungen und es sind keine speziellen Vorsichtsmassnahmen notwendig.

Wie verwenden Sie Fluimare/- Family?
Bitte halten Sie sich an die Anwendungsvorschriften.
Erwachsene und Kinder ab 2 Jahren:
Je nach Bedarf 1–2 Sprühstösse in jedes Nasenloch mehrmals täglich.
Kleinkinder (unter 2 Jahren) und Säuglinge:
Je nach Bedarf einen Sprühstoss in jedes Nasenloch 3–6-mal täglich.
Kleinkinder und Säuglinge sollen bei der Anwendung von Fluimare/- Family nicht auf den Rücken, sondern auf die Seite gelegt werden. Der Kopf sollte leicht angehoben werden. Verwenden Sie dann Fluimare/- Family wie oben beschrieben.
Hinweis zur Anwendung
 | Entfernen Sie die Schutzkappe vom Nasenadapter, führen Sie den Adapter in das Nasenloch ein und betätigen Sie die Pumpe. Wiederholen Sie den Vorgang im zweiten Nasenloch Nach Anwendung wischen Sie bitte den Nasenadapter zum Beispiel mit einem sauberen Papiertaschentuch ab und verschliessen ihn mit der Schutzkappe. |
Welche Nebenwirkungen kann Fluimare/- Family haben?
Bei bestimmungsgemässem Gebrauch sind keine Nebenwirkungen beobachtet worden. Die Dauer der Anwendung von Fluimare/- Family ist nicht begrenzt und kann daher bei Bedarf auch auf einen längeren Zeitraum ausgedehnt werden.
Was ist ferner zu beachten?
Wenn Ihnen Ihr Arzt ein Arzneimittel zur Anwendung in der Nase verordnet hat, sollten Sie Fluimare/- Family vorher benutzen.
Fluimare/- Family soll ausserhalb der Reichweite von Kindern aufbewahrt werden.
Fluimare/- Family darf nur bis zu dem auf dem Behälter nach 
bezeichneten Datum verwendet werden.
Bei einer längeren Anwendung als 6 Wochen nach dem ersten Anbruch ist die korrekte Funktionstüchtigkeit des Pumpsystems nicht mehr garantiert.
Aus technischen Gründen verbleibt eine Restmenge in der Flasche, die nicht mehr aufgebraucht werden kann: Diese Restmenge stellt kein Produktmangel dar.
