What is Kelosoft and when is it used? Kelosoft is a scar treatment cream that contains green oil (from henbane) as an active ingredient. This has a softening and smoothing effect on bulging scars. After several months of treatment with Kelosoft, the scars slowly recede. Visible success usually only occurs after 6-12 months. Kelosoft can also be used after a certain time to prevent scarring after skin injuries (burns and cuts) and operations.When should Kelosoft not be used?Kelosoft must not be used if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ointment additives or another component of the preparation. Kelosoft should only be used in children under the age of 12 on the advice of a doctor. Kelosoft must not be applied to open or unhealed wounds or mucous membranes. Adults: Every evening before going to sleep, massage a little cream into the scar with your fingertip for 2-3 minutes, then cover with gauze if necessary. Treatment should be continued daily without interruption. Depending on the extent and severity of the existing bad scarring, the treatment can last from several weeks to months.
