What is Tebofortin and when is it used? Tebofortin contains a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba leaves. The Ginkgo extract is said to have the property of reducing blood flow, especially in the smaller area and the smallest blood vessels and thus to improve the oxygen supply to the tissue cells. Tebofortin is used for declining mental performance with symptoms such as lack of concentration, forgetfulness, dizziness (in the case of arteriosclerosis symptoms).What should be considered?Before treatment with Tebofortin is started, It should be clarified whether the symptoms of the disease are not due to an underlying disease that needs to be specifically treated. Frequently occurring dizziness generally requires a clarification by the doctor.
