Spagyrom® sore throats are used for acute infections of the mouth, sore throat, difficulty swallowing and reddened and inflamed mucous membranes with colds and flu. What should be considered?If the symptoms do not subside within a reasonable time, consult your doctor. Spagyrom® sore throat should never be taken for longer than 6 weeks. When is caution required when taking/using Spagyrom sore throat, lozenges?In case of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, Spagyrom® sore throat should not be applied. Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other diseaseshave allergies ortake other medicines (including those you bought yourself!). When should Spagyrom sore throat, lozenges not be used or only with caution?Do not use in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, diseases of the white blood cells (leukemia), collagen diseases (generalized Autoimmune processes with connective tissue changes such as lupus erythematosus), multiple sclerosis, AIDS, HIV infection and autoimmune diseases (antibody formation against the body's own tissue). If you are known to be sensitive to one of the ingredients (see "What does Spagyrom® sore throat contain?"), Spagyrom® sore throat should not be used, nor if you have a known allergy to composite plants ( like arnica, marigold)! Spagyrom® Sore throats are not suitable for the treatment of chronic sore throats, they must be treated by your doctor. If you have a fever and the symptoms last more than a week, consult your doctor. Can Spagyrom Sore Throat be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice How do you use Spagyrom Sore Throat?Adults: Dissolve 1 lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2-3 hours. Maximum 8 lozenges per day. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. What side effects can Spagyrom sore throat have?The following side effects can occur when taking Spagyrom® sore throat: In rare cases, essential oils can cause belching or burning in the stomach. These symptoms disappear when the treatment is stopped. In rare cases, hypersensitivity reactions (such as skin rashes and very rarely asthma, circulatory reactions) have been observed with Echinacea preparations. In this case, the treatment should be stopped immediately and a doctor consulted. If you notice any side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. What else needs to be considered?Spagyrom® sore throats should be stored at room temperature (15-25 °C) and out of the reach of children. Spagyrom® sore throats may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Unused packs should be returned to your pharmacist or druggist for disposal. Your doctor, pharmacist or druggist can provide you with further information. What is in Spagyrom Sore Throat?Active ingredients 1 lozenge contains: 50 mg liquid extract from the fresh flowering whole plant (including root) of the narrow-leaved coneflower (Echinacea angustifolia), drug-extract ratio 1:4, extractant ethanol 90% by volume, 50 mg liquid extract from the Fresh blooming whole plant (with roots) of the purple coneflower (Echinacea purpurea) drug-extract ratio 1:4, extractant ethanol 90% by volume, 2.0 mg peppermint oil (Menthae piperitae aetheroleum), 2.0 mg thyme oil (Thymi aetheroleum), 1.0 mg clove oil (Caryophylli aetheroleum), 1.2 mg cinnamon leaf oil (Cinnamomi zeylanici folii aetheroleum), 1.0 mg lavender oil (Lavandulae aetheroleum), 1.0 mg rosemary oil (Rosmarini aetheroleum), 1.0 mg juniper oil (Juniperi aetheroleum), 0.7 mg savory oil (Saturejae aetheroleum) , 0.1 mg chamomile oil (Matricariae aetheroleum).
