What is Contractubex and when is it used? Contractubex is a post-scar tissue treatment gel. Hardened and excess scar tissue is softened and smoothed. Contractubex is used for excessive, bulging and movement-restricting scars and for limited joint mobility due to involuntary permanent shortening of the muscles (contracture), amputations and accidents as well as scar shrinkage. What should be considered? Extreme cold or too much cold must be used, especially when treating fresh scars Massage should be avoided. Scars should be protected from the sun's rays. This medicine contains the preservative sorbic acid (E200). Sorbic acid may cause localized skin irritation (e.g. contact dermatitis). What are Maltofer Fol chewable tablets and when are they used? Maltofer Fol chewable tablets are a combination preparation containing iron and folic acid. They are used to treat and prevent iron deficiency with an increased need for folic acid during pregnancy and breastfeeding.Iron is an essential component of the red blood pigment, the red muscle pigment and the iron-containing enzymes. Folic acid is an important vitamin for the development of the unborn child. A lack of folic acid in the first few weeks of pregnancy can lead to birth defects in the child. What should you watch out for? Before you start taking Maltofer Fol chewable tablets, the blood's iron and blood pigment (haemoglobin) content should have been clarified by the doctor through suitable tests. What should be considered?Large, heavily soiled and deep wounds, as well as bite and puncture wounds require medical treatment (danger of tetanus).
