When not to use Sensicutan?Sensicutan should not be used if you are hypersensitive to levomenol, heparin, sorbic acid, salicylic acid or any of the other ingredients. Heparin preparations should not be used if there is a tendency to bleed or if there is a reduced number of platelets. When is caution required when using Sensicutan?Pregnant women and children should avoid long-term use over large areas. Do not use on children under 3 years of age. Sensicutan may only be applied to undamaged skin. Do not apply Sensicutan to open wounds or mucous membranes. If an allergic reaction occurs, the use of Sensicutan should be discontinued immediately. If you are using another form of heparin, discuss this with your doctor before using Sensicutan.
