What is Ialugen Cream and when is it used?Ialugen Cream contains sodium hyaluronate as an active ingredient, a natural substance that accelerates scarring. Ialugen Cream is available as a cream and medicated gauzes. It is a wound healing agent that accelerates the healing of small, minor wounds and minor burns (1st degree).Ialugen Cream can only be used to treat ulcers if prescribed by a doctor.What precautions should be taken?Large, heavily soiled or deep wounds, such as bite and puncture wounds, require medical treatment (danger of tetanus). If the wound size does not decrease within a certain time or if the wound has not healed after 10-14 days, you should also consult the doctor. The Ialugen gauze must be removed with sterile forceps and placed on the previously cleaned and disinfected wound; then cover the wound with a sterile gauze and then with cotton wool and fix the whole thing with a suitable bandage.The individual packs are intended for single use.The use and safety of Ialugen in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.
