What should be considered?Note for diabetics:Magnesium Biomed granules for preparation of an oral solution contains 3.0 g usable carbohydrates per bag. The drug is still suitable for diabetics. When should Magnesium Biomed not be used?Magnesium Biomed should not be taken in the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients, severe kidney dysfunction, dehydration in the body and a predisposition to urinary tract infections with formation of magnesium ammonium phosphate stones. In these cases, the serum magnesium level must be monitored. When is caution required when taking Magnesium Biomed?Patients with moderately impaired kidney function may only take the preparation after consulting their doctor. Certain antibiotics (tetracyclines) should be taken 2-3 hours apart from Magnesium Biomed in order to avoid mutual impairment of absorption into the blood.
