The Hänseler D-mannose sticks with cranberry flavor contain D-mannose, a naturally occurring simple sugar, and thus offer a gentle way to prevent cystitis. The sugar adheres to inflammation-causing bacteria on the bladder wall, causing them to be excreted in the urine along with the sugar. In this way, the risk of recurrent infections can be reduced. The simple sugar D-mannose is not absorbed by the body.

It is recommended to drink 1 stick of the Hänseler D-Mannose Cranberry Flavor preparation dissolved in water daily. In case of increased requirements, up to a maximum of 3 sticks per day can be taken.
