Properties

The La Roche-Posay Lipikar Milk Urea 5+ is a care product for very dry to rough skin. The contained urea binds moisture in the horny layer and supports the desquamation process. Urea is very well tolerated in the 5% concentration. The urea was combined together with hepes. This active ingredient helps urea to penetrate the skin better, strengthens the skin's barrier function and stabilizes the pH value for better tolerability. This combination allows 5% urea to act like 10%. The skin is smoothed and moisturized for a long time. In addition, the milk has soothing and anti-irritant properties.
