Description

What is Curanel and when is it used?< /div>

Curanel nail polish is a medicine against fungal infections (mycoses) of the nails that is applied externally. Curanel nail polish is used without a doctor's prescription to treat nail mycoses on the front and side edges of the nails (as in figure 1 below) if no more than two nails are affected. If the infection looks similar to that shown in picture #2 or #3 (in which more than just the front and side edges of the nail are affected), then you need to see a doctor.

Nail mycosis is usually associated with a white, yellow or brown discoloration and associated thickening of the nail, whereby the appearance of the infestation can vary greatly.
