What is Biovigor and when is it used?
Biovigor is a supplement with 0.5 mg of vitamin B12 and 4 amino acids (phosphoserine 40 mg, glutamine 60 mg, phosphothreonine 10 mg, arginine 100 mg). This combination supports the recovery of the weakened organism and the nervous system.
Biovigor is used in cases of reduced physical and mental performance, tiredness, lack of concentration, nervous tension and after a long illness.
What should be considered?
Note for diabetics: 10 ml Biovigor corresponds to 20 kcal (84 kJ).
When should Biovigor not be used?
Biovigor should not be used if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients (see «What does Biovigor contain?»). If you suffer from a rare sorbitol intolerance (fructose intolerance), you should also not use Biovigor.
If you suffer from anemia, you must first have the cause of the anemia clarified by your doctor before using Biovigor.
The use and safety of Biovigor in children and adolescents has not yet been tested. Biovigor is not intended for self-medication in this age group.
When should you be careful when taking Biovigor?
If you experience symptoms such as pale skin and mucous membranes, tiredness, dizziness and you want to use Biovigor, you should first Doctor or your doctor should be consulted. It could be diseases that require a medical examination for the time being. In the case of malignant diseases of the hematopoietic system or a tumor, a doctor must be consulted in order to avoid a possible deterioration in the state of health.
The sorbitol used in the preparation as a sweetener can have a slight laxative effect. In this case, take Biovigor after eating.
On very rare occasions, sorbitol is not well tolerated. Persistent diarrhea or gastrointestinal complaints during therapy can be signs of hypersensitivity. Consult your doctor before continuing therapy in this case.
Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies, take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally.
Can Biovigor be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
During pregnancy or while breastfeeding, Biovigor should only be taken if expressly prescribed by your doctor become.
How do you use Biovigor?
Dosage
Adults: if prescribed by a doctor, or otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the daily dosage is 1 × 10 ml syrup.
Biovigor should be taken undiluted or with a little water in the morning before breakfast, on an empty stomach.
If the doctor has prescribed a second dose per day, it should be taken in the evening (approx. 10-12 hours after the first dose) before eating.
Unless otherwise prescribed, the duration of therapy is a maximum of 30 days. If your condition, especially tiredness, does not improve after this period, you should consult a doctor (see section “When should you be careful when taking Biovigor?”). Even if things get worse again after a temporary improvement, you should consult a doctor and inform him/her about the temporary use of Biovigor.
Children and adolescents
The use and safety of Biovigor in children and adolescents has not yet been tested. Biovigor is not intended for self-medication in this age group.
If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
Preparing the syrup
Remove the security seal and screw the cap down until the powder inside falls into the bottle. Shake vigorously until the solution is clear. If small particles dissolve only slowly, this has no influence on the absorption of the drug in the body.
To take the medicine, unscrew the cap and pour 10 ml of syrup into the measuring cup up to the appropriate mark. You can drink the solution directly or take it diluted in a glass with a little water. Rinse the measuring cup with water after use. After each intake, carefully screw the lid back on.
What side effects can Biovigor have?
The sweetener sorbitol contained in Biovigor can have a slightly laxative effect. In sensitive patients, diarrhea or gastrointestinal problems may occur in rare cases. In such a case, take Biovigor after meals.
If you notice side effects that are not described here, you should inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
Storage instructions
It is recommended to store Biovigor in a dry place, at room temperature (15-25°C) and out of the reach of children.
Shelf life
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Once prepared, Biovigor can be kept at room temperature for 10 days.
If you have medicines whose expiry date has passed, please return them to your pharmacist.

What is in Biovigor?
10 ml of syrup contains:
Active ingredients: Hydroxocobalamin hydrochloride (vitamin B12) 0.5 mg, L-phosphothreonine 10 mg, L-phosphoserine 40 mg, L-glutamine 60 mg, L- Arginine hydrochloride 100 mg.
Excipients: sorbitol 70%, flavoring, sodium benzoate (E 211), other excipients.
Biovigor contains a digestible, tooth-friendly sugar (sorbitol); Diabetics should note that the total calorie content of 10 ml of Biovigor is 20 kcal (84 kJ).
