What is Dormiplant and when is it used?

Dormiplant is a herbal medicine based on the well-known and proven medicinal plants valerian and lemon balm. The mutually complementary combination of the two plants has a calming and sleep-inducing effect. Dormiplant is used to calm restlessness, nervousness and problems falling asleep.

What should be considered?

If the symptoms persist for more than 2 weeks or if they worsen, medical help should be sought.

When must Dormiplant not be taken or only with caution?

Dormiplant must not be used if you are hypersensitive to an ingredient (see «What is contained in Dormiplant?»). Do not use in children under 6 years.

Dormiplant may affect responsiveness, the ability to drive and the ability to use tools or machines. Therefore, no vehicles should be driven or tools or machines used for up to 2 hours after taking Dormiplant.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

• suffer from other diseases
• have allergies or
• use other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

The simultaneous Taking synthetic sedatives requires medical diagnosis and monitoring.

Can Dormiplant be taken during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as directed . However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Dormiplant?

For your peace of mind:

Adults 2 times 1-2 tablets daily, children over 6 years 1 tablet twice a day.

If you have trouble falling asleep:

Adults 2-3 tablets, children over 6 years 1 tablet, take about 1 hour before bedtime.

Swallow the tablets whole with some liquid.

The medicine should not be used in children under 6 years of age.

Stick to the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Dormiplant have?

Up to now, no side effects have been observed for Dormiplant when used as intended. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What else needs to be considered?

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container. Keep out of reach of CHILDREN. Do not store above 30°C.

What does Dormiplant contain?

1 film-coated tablet contains: ethanolic dry extract of valerian 160 mg (3– 6:1) and lemon balm 80 mg (4–6:1). This preparation contains the dye indigotine (E 132), sodium saccharin, vanillin and other auxiliary substances.
