What is Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes and when is it used?

Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes is a cooling gel that is quickly absorbed by the skin and is absorbed Due to the interaction of paracress (Spilanthes oleracea) extracts, arnica flowers and arnica roots, it is suitable for the treatment of blunt sports injuries and accidental injuries. Traditionally, Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes is used to treat non-bleeding, blunt sports injuries such as bruises, sprains, contusions, strains, minor bruises, tendonitis and bursitis, as well as pain in the muscles, tendons and ligaments as a result of overexertion.

When must Alpinamed Arnica-Gel with Spilanthes not be used or only with caution?

Alpinamed Arnica-Gel with Spilanthes must not be used on open (bleeding) wounds and used on mucous membranes. Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes must not be used if you are known to be hypersensitive to one of the ingredients (especially if you are allergic to arnica preparations) and in patients with a tendency to allergies, as well as in small children, children and adolescents.

This medicinal product contains 456 mg of alcohol (ethanol) per 1g of gel. It can cause a burning sensation on damaged skin.

This medicinal product contains 100 mg propylene glycol per 1 g gel.

Can Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes?

Adults: Apply Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes 4-5 times a day in a thin layer to the affected areas and let dry. Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor.

The use and safety of Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.

What side effects can Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes have?

The following side effects can occasionally occur when using Alpinamed Arnica Gel with Spilanthes: allergic skin reactions (blistering). These disappear after discontinuation of the drug. If the skin reactions persist, consult your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

If you get any side effects, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked «EXP» on the container.
