Description

What is Zeller Relaxation and when is it used?

The active ingredient in Zeller relaxation is dry extracts (Ze 185) from butterbur roots, valerian roots, and lemon balm and passion flower herbs. This medicinal product is manufactured using a standardized process. Consistent quality is achieved through standardization.

Zeller relaxation is used for the following complaints: nervousness, tension and restlessness, exam anxiety. These can manifest themselves in the following symptoms, among others: spasmodic gastrointestinal complaints, increased irritability, occasional difficulty falling asleep and sleeping through the night.

What precautions should be taken?

If your symptoms last longer than a month, you should seek medical help.

This medicinal product contains approximately 55 mg of usable carbohydrates per single dose (1 film-coated tablet).

When should Zeller relaxation not be taken or only with caution?

The film-coated tablets must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to one of the ingredients (see «What does Zeller relaxation contain?»).

Very rare but sometimes serious liver damage has been observed in connection with a preparation containing a specific butterbur extract (CO 2 extract). However, a liver-damaging effect cannot be ruled out for the alcoholic butterbur extract used in Zeller relaxation. In the case of existing liver damage, it is therefore generally not recommended to take medicines containing butterbur.

Unusual tiredness, weakness or loss of appetite and unintentional weight loss; Yellowing of the conjunctiva of the eyes or skin, dark urine or discolored stools may indicate liver damage. If such symptoms occur, Zeller relaxation must be discontinued immediately and a doctor consulted immediately.

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

  • suffer from other diseases
  • have allergies or
  • take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!

Can Zeller Relaxation be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk to the unborn child when taken as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

How do you use Zeller Relaxation?

For adults and children over 6 years of age, the single dose is 1 film-coated tablet, the recommended daily dose is 1 film-coated tablet 3 times. Zeller relaxation is best taken during meals with a glass of water.

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or as prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
