What are Zeller Heart and Nerves drops and when are they used?
Zeller heart and nerves, drops contain liquid extracts of hawthorn herb, hawthorn fruits, passion flower herb, hop cones, olive leaves, avens and holly leaves.
The proven medicinal plants complement each other. They are traditionally credited with having a calming effect on the heart and nerves.
Zeller Heart and Nerves, Drops are therefore indicated for the following complaints: Nervous heart problems, which can manifest themselves in a variety of symptoms: anxiety, severe palpitations, rapid pulse, as well as difficulty falling asleep.
What precautions should be taken?
If an irregular pulse, severe palpitations, stabbing pain in the heart area and shortness of breath occur frequently or last longer, a doctor ’s consultation is advisable. He or she will determine whether the heart or the vessels are organically diseased or whether the symptoms are caused by nerves.
This medicinal product contains approximately 27 mg of usable carbohydrate per single dose (3 ml).
When should Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops not be used or only with caution?
This medicinal product contains 32% alcohol by volume. If the recommended dosage is observed, up to 0.75 g of alcohol is consumed with each intake. There is a health risk for people with liver disease, alcoholism, epilepsy, people with brain damage, pregnant women and breastfeeding women. The effect of other medicines may be increased or decreased.
Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops should not be used on children or adolescents under the age of 18.
Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

- take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!)!
Can Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops be taken during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Due to the alcohol content, there are restrictions on use, see under "When should Zeller Herz und Nerve Drops not be used or only with caution?"
Because of the alcohol content, the preparation should be replaced by the alcohol-free form of Zeller Herz und Nerve, film-coated tablets, during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
How do you use Zeller Heart and Nerves drops?
Adults take 1 measuring pipette filling (equivalent to 3 ml) with some liquid 3 times a day before meals.
The use and safety of Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops in children and adolescents has not yet been tested.
Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What side effects can Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops have?
For Zeller Heart and Nerves, no side effects have been observed so far when used as intended. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What should also be noted?
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked “EXP” on the container.
Store at room temperature (15-25°C) in the original packaging.
The medicine should be kept out of the reach of children.
The occurrence of turbidity or light sediment is of a vegetable nature and does not affect the effectiveness of the preparation.
The preparation contains 32% alcohol by volume. The preparation is also available alcohol-free as Zeller Herz undnerve, film-coated tablets.

What does Zeller Heart and Nerves Drops contain?
Liquid extract of: hawthorn leaves and flowers (Crataegi folium cum flore) 30 mg, hawthorn fruits (Crataegi fructus) 10 mg, passion flowers (Passiflorae herba) 15 mg, hop cones (Humuli lupuli flos) 10 mg, olive leaves (Oleae folium) 10 mg, avens (Caryophyllatae herba) 20 mg and holly leaves (Ilicis aquifolii folium) 10 mg per 1 ml. Extraction agent ethanol 96% (v/v), glycerol 85%, water (29:2:69). Alcohol content: 32 % by volume.
