What is Parapic Roll-On and when is it used?

Parapic Roll-On is a liquid that quickly relieves pain and itching that is applied directly to the affected area of ​​skin after insect bites. Parapic Roll-On has a slightly disinfecting, anti-inflammatory, decongestant and cooling effect.

What precautions should be taken?

People who are allergic to the bites of certain insects (bees, wasps, etc.) must also follow the therapeutic measures prescribed by their doctor.

When should Parapic Roll-On not be used?

If there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients according to the composition, Parapic Roll-On must not be used (see «What does Parapic contain?»). The preparation must not be used in children under the age of 2.5 years, as the ingredients levomenthol and cineole can trigger laryngeal spasms or respiratory arrest if accidentally inhaled.

When is caution needed when using Parapic Roll-On?

Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you

  • suffer from other diseases
  • have allergies or
  • take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!

Can Parapic Roll-On be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.

In particular, use in the breast area and large-area application should be avoided during breastfeeding.

How do you use Parapic Roll-On?

Dab or spray the stung area with Parapic Roll-On several times a day as needed. Parapic Roll-On should not be used in children under 2.5 years of age (see “When should Parapic not be used?”).

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.

What side effects can Parapic  Roll-On have?

Uncommon (affects 1 to 10 users in 1000)

Skin irritation, allergic reactions.

Frequency: Not known

In children under 2.5 years of age, accidental inhalation may cause laryngeal spasms or respiratory arrest.

If you notice side effects, contact your doctor, pharmacist or druggist. This also applies in particular to side effects that are not listed in this leaflet.

The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked “EXP” on the container.
