Description

What is Lubex  Extra Mild and when is it used?

Lubex Extra Mild  is a lightly disinfecting skin cleansing and care product for the whole body. Thanks to its composition, Lubex  Extra Mild also promotes the healing process in various skin and skin fungal diseases. Lubex is mild. Even the sensitive mucous membrane is not irritated. Lubex has a weakly acidic, buffered pH of 5.5 and thus preserves the physiological hydro-lipid film (protective acid mantle) of the epidermis (skin). In this way, Lubex  Extra Mild prevents the skin from drying out.

The slightly disinfecting active ingredient Disodium undecylenamido MEA-sulfosuccinate contained in Lubex has a slightly growth-inhibiting effect on various bacteria and skin fungi. Therefore, Lubex supports the effect of local therapeutics in:

  • Acne;
  • skin fungal diseases;
  • infant eczema;
  • inflammation in the genital area;
  • Rosacea (a chronic inflammatory skin disease of the face).

Lubex Extra Mild is suitable for the supportive treatment of the following skin diseases:

  • Eczema, eg contact eczema, endogenous eczema (neurodermatitis), microbial eczema;
  • seborrheic eczema (a chronic skin condition affecting areas of skin that contain many sebaceous glands);
  • inflammation in skin folds (intertrigo);
  • purulent rashes (impetigo);
  • psoriasis;
  • occupational skin diseases.

Furthermore, Lubex is suitable as a skin washing emulsion in long-term therapy:

  • with soap intolerance;
  • for infant care;
  • for washing, showering and bathing sensitive, inflamed or infected skin;
  • for gentle cleaning of the intimate area;
  • for the care of aged skin and bed sores.

When should Lubex  Extra Mild  not be used?

If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, Lubex should not be used.

When is caution required when using Lubex  Extra Mild ?

Inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or are taking other medicines (including those you bought yourself) or using them externally!

Can Lubex Extra Mild be used during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child when used as intended. Since Lubex is immediately rinsed off, a risk can be practically ruled out. Lubex can be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.

How do you use Lubex Extra Mild ?

Adults and Children

For skin diseases - such as acne and eczema - Lubex  Extra Mild is used like liquid soap. Wet the skin well with lukewarm water, then apply a few squirts of Lubex  Extra Mild directly to the affected areas of the skin and wash gently. Then rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry with a clean cloth without rubbing.

In the case of fungal skin diseases , Lubex Extra Mild is suitable for preventive treatment by washing the endangered skin areas with Lubex  Extra Mild instead of soap. Lubex also supports the healing process in skin fungal diseases if the skin is thoroughly cleaned with Lubex before each application of the local antifungal agent. In addition, continuing to wash the affected skin areas with Lubex instead of soap for 5-6 weeks will prevent recurrence. Always rinse Lubex  Extra Mild with lukewarm water and pat the skin dry with a clean towel.

Follow the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
