What is Resorban and when is it used?
Resorban is a liniment for external use. Experience has shown that Resorban is rubbed in for the symptomatic treatment of colds in the respiratory tract, catarrh with colds and coughs.
When should Resorban not be used?
Resorban may not used in infants and small children under the age of 2 years or if there is a known hypersensitivity to one of the active ingredients or excipients (see «What does Resorban contain?»).
When is caution required when using Resorban?
Resorban may only be used for short periods in small children over the age of 2 years.
In patients with previously damaged Kidneys, Resorban may only be used for a short time and not over a large area.
Resorban should not come into contact with the eyes, mucous membranes or open wounds.
Inform your doctor or pharmacist or druggists or your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you suffer from other illnesses, have allergies or take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!
May take Resorban during pregnant or breastfeeding?
Resorban must not be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding.
How do you use Resorban?
Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age:
Rub the chest and back up to 5 times a day with a strip of bronchial cream about two centimeters long until the cream has disappeared into the skin.
Children from 2 years of age
Use a strip of bronchial cream about one centimeter long. If necessary, cover with an air-permeable cloth.
Wash hands well after use.
Observe the dosage given in the package leaflet or prescribed by your doctor. If you think the medicine is too weak or too strong, talk to your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
Side effects Resorban?
If skin redness and itching occur, use should be discontinued and a doctor consulted if necessary.
In the event of accidental large-scale application in small children or oral ingestion (swallowing) The following symptoms of an overdose may occur: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, stomach upset, headache, dizziness, flushing, epileptic seizures, temporary central nervous system disorders and coma.

What does Resorban contain?
1 g Cream contains 70 mg cineol, 100 mg camphor, 30 mg niaouli oil. This preparation also contains auxiliary substances as well as the preservative phenoxyethanol and the antioxidant butylated hydroxyanisole (= E 320).
