When should WALA Bitter Elixir be used?
According to anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, WALA Bitter Elixir can be used to stimulate digestive activity.
What should you watch out for?
If your doctor has prescribed you other medicines, ask your doctor or pharmacist whether WALA Bitter Elixir may be taken at the same time.
Note for diabetics: 1 tablespoon (15 ml) of syrup corresponds to 0.6 BE

When should WALA Bitter Elixir not be used or only with caution?
To date, no application restrictions are known. When used as intended, no special precautionary measures are necessary. Digestive problems in children under the age of 12 must be clarified by a doctor. Therefore, the elixir should not be used in these cases without a doctor's prescription.
Tell your doctor, pharmacist or druggist if you
−suffer from other diseases,
−have allergies or
−Take other medicines (including those you bought yourself!) or use them externally!
Can WALA Bitter Elixir be used during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
Based on previous experience, there is no known risk for the child if used as directed. However, systematic scientific investigations have never been carried out. As a precaution, you should avoid taking medicines during pregnancy and breastfeeding or ask your doctor, pharmacist or druggist for advice.
How do you use WALA Bitter Elixir?
Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, take 1 tablespoon undiluted before or after meals - or with tea or mineral water diluted – take. Shake before use!

What side effects can WALA Bitter Elixir have?
No side effects have been observed for WALA Bitter Elixir when used as intended. If you nevertheless observe side effects, inform your doctor, pharmacist or druggist.
What else needs to be considered?
Keep out of the reach of children.
The medicinal product may only be used up to the date marked ‹EXP› on the container.
Limited shelf life after opening. Store in the fridge (2-8 °C)!

What does WALA Bitter Elixir contain?
15 ml (1 tablespoon) contain:
10.7 g liquid extract from 387 mg gentian roots (Gentianae luteae radix), 297 mg wormwood herb (Artemisiae absinthii herba), 238 mg ginger roots (Zingiberis rhizoma), 36 mg calamus roots (Acori calami rhizoma), 7 mg black pepper fruits (Piperis nigri fructus ), 7.1 g sugar (saccharum).
Extract from spring water with the addition of cane sugar and citric acid.
