The Epitact protection for hallux valgus relieves pain from hallux valgus and reduces annoying friction. The epithelium 26 used here is a silicone gel that has mechanical properties similar to certain human tissues, thereby distributing stress evenly. The fact that the protective layer is only 1mm thick also prevents additional pressure in the shoe.

• The protection should not be worn on raw skin.In the case of diabetes, arteritis and neuropathy, the foot must be monitored regularly.
