When should elmex gelée not be used?•In the event of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. •For detachment of the oral mucosa. •For bone and/or dental fluorosis. •For people in whom control of the swallowing reflex is not guaranteed (e.g. children under 6 years of age). When is caution required when taking / using elmex gelée?To avoid poisoning through swallowing, elmex® jelly should not be used if the swallowing reflex cannot be controlled. In children under 8 years of age, use should be supervised by parents.
