Description
Magnesium Sandoz is a magnesium supplement in effervescent tablet form that allows the body to be supplied with magnesium in a form that the body can absorb well and in sufficient quantities. Magnesium is a vital element that is necessary for many metabolic processes in the human body. It is assumed that adults need at least 300-400 mg magnesium per day (1 Magnesium Sandoz effervescent tablet contains 10 mmol, corresponding to 243 mg magnesium).
Magnesium Sandoz is used to cover an increased need (e.g. during growth, high-performance sport, pregnancy, breastfeeding), with a low-magnesium diet and with calf cramps.
On prescription from a doctor or on the advice of a pharmacist, Magnesium Sandoz can be used to treat magnesium deficiencies, which can be manifested by symptoms such as nervousness, irritability and tiredness; used for muscle twitching, restless legs and alcohol abuse.
Magnesium Sandoz is prescribed by the doctor for tachycardia cardiac arrhythmias, especially resistance to other antiarrhythmic drugs.
